Job Title: First Line Support Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire; ideally 1 day on-site with the rest remote. Access to a car is essential

Our client, an award winning, independent digital agency is seeking a First Line Support Engineer to support the day-to-day operations of the business.
This role will consist off but is not limited:
  • Purchasing hardware
  • Fixing hardware faults
  • Setting up / resetting new hardware
  • Set, monitor, test and repair backup on Barnserver
  • Handle any internal support tickets specifically about employee pcs
  • Manage networking infrastructure including patching etc.
  • Managing hosted software: Teamcity; Jira; Office 365
  • Create and manage system automations
  • Audit information security quarterly
  • Monitor azure hosting infrastructure for usage, warnings and errors and escalate if needed
  • Manage/ monitor cloud hosted systems: Xero; Teamwork; HubSpot
If you do not have experience in all the technologies listed above, please still apply, as our customer will assist in your development, as long as you have some first line support experience and are customer service focused
Activities that may be required to complete:
  • Set up and manage Teamcity builds
  • Create/ manage/ improve project build tasks (Gulp, NPM etc)
  • Set up and manage azure resources
  • Internal OWASP, pen testing
  • Assisting in the writing and update of privacy assessments
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running on basic first line responsibilities in the first instance and be confident with dealing with internal and external enquiries
Salary and benefits:
  • Salary in the range of £20k - £25k
  • Full benefits package can be discussed
  • Remote working, but travel to the office once – twice a week
