We’re looking for ambitious, problem solvers with entrepreneurial flair for the role of General Manager with a Norwich based property management start up.
This a fantastic opportunity for those keen to join an exciting start-up. You’ll have the opportunity to be mentored by 2 experienced founders, progress quickly and be rewarded with share options.
 
What you will be doing:
The general manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. You will have a direct input on the operational duties and will be guided over the sales and marketing objectives. You will be based remotely with the requirement to travel to properties in and around Norwich.

Day to day the responsibilities of the role will include:  
  • Ensure a 5-star guest experience and maintain the company’s highly regarded status
  • Manage the guest communications team who are responsible for written guest comms
  • Be able to take charge and quickly resolve problems to the satisfaction of the company standards
  • Manage contractor relationships to ensure they continue a high level of service on the client’s properties
  • Market the company on social media to continue the growth and expansion of the company
  • Prepare monthly pay-outs and reports for our customers
  • Deal with guest calls which are on a ad hoc and unpredictable basis
 
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who is confident in working independently and is willing to take ownership and responsibility in the daily tasks and objectives. We need a great communicator, a problem solver, someone who is customer-focused and ensures a high standard of work is achieved. 
You will be tech savvy with a good understanding of IT and software.
You will have demonstrated entrepreneurial drive – this could be from your own start up or within a previous role.
Ideally you will have some experience of managing operations and logistics this could be from the property sector or within hospitality for example.
The role has an on-call element with guest check-in check out taking place over weekends therefore you’ll be flexible around working patterns and be able to respond and handle situations as they arise.
