 Human Resources Manager / HR Manager – Hebden Bridge - £30,000 to £40,000
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with a generalist Human Resources skill set for busy role in Hebden Bridge. Reporting to the board within a specialist manufacturing / production environment you will enjoy a busy HR remit including employee relations, recruitment, induction, retention, development, policy and managing change.
Previous experienced required 
  • 3 years+ HR generalist experience
  • Manufacturing / engineering / production environment experience, or similar
  • Developing and supporting line managers through change
  • Supporting managers with recruitment (direct and agency)
  • Developing Human Resources policies
  • Working within / reporting to a senior leadership team
  • Graduate calibre / working towards or holding a CIPD qualification
Duties of the role: 
  • Recruitment – advertising, CV Review, interviews, candidate management, offer management, manage recruitment costs and agency relationships
  • provide guidance for line managers on recruitment process, benefits packages etc…
  • Supporting managers with staff Inductions
  • Drive staff retention through staff welfare
  • Management of a variety training resources (internal and external)
  • Management of the disciplinary and grievance procedure
  • Providing advice to Senior Leadership Team to ensure best practice
  • Absence monitoring / management
  • HR management to support strategic business aims and projects
  • Continuous review of HR policies and procedures
  • Management of Human Resources Administrator
  • Managing talent and succession planning
  • Providing reports to Management Team/Board
  • Responsibility for Health & Safety (previous experience desirable but not essential)
  • Cover for payroll function when necessary (previous experience desirable but not essential)

Salary / Remuneration
  • Basic Salary in the range £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and current remuneration
  • 37.5 hour working week with flexibility (early finish Friday)
  • 33 days holiday (25 days per year + 8 statutory days)
