IT Coordinator – 1st line help desk – Ipswich - £25,000 - £30,000
 
We are excited to be working alongside a fascinating, multiple award-winning online wine retailer. They’re one the leading online wine retailers recognised for exclusively representing some of the finest quality wines from across Europe, south Africa, etc. With top of the range facilities, after years of healthy growth and success, an IT Coordinator is needed to support their mission of providing the best service for their customers.

As an IT coordinator you’ll be enthusiastic about working to solve challenges with a ‘get stuck in’ approach to tasks, with 2 years previous professional experience working within an IT Support/ Technician position allowing you to provide technical support across a diverse range of technology.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Set up computers, both laptops and desktops, at existing and new offices (including warehouse)
  • Set up and manage IT help desk, which includes triage of all inbound requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and escalating issues as needed
  • Maintain office and warehouse network and work with a solution provider to stay up to date with upgrades and scheduled maintenances
  • Manage relationship with telecommunications provider and ensure all team members’ telecoms needs are met (mobile phone, office phone, messaging, etc.)
  • Assist the creation of ERP system test cases and conduct additional system testing
  • Perform as a functional bridge between external vendors and internal stakeholders
 
Requirements:
  • Prior experience (minimum 2 years) in an IT role
  • Solid understanding of computers, mobile devices, and other IT infrastructure
  • Ideally has experience using either an ERP or a WMS system, or both
