It's stating the obvious to say that the boardroom is a not diverse place. However alot of noise is being made about how initiatives by big corporates and the government about how they plan to improve the balance.
The question is very simple. Are we making progress?
Langham's recent trip to Advanced Engineering showed how much work there was to do. It was staggering how many white males dominate this space. It was highlighted by at least 3 key note speakers that the skills and diversity crisis isn't improving and that multinationals may have no choice but to look outside of the UK on where they invest in the future.
